Vedal develops, plans and implements real estate and construction projects in close collaboration with its customers. The company needed a refresh of its visual identity, while the website needed to be tailored to Vedal's wishes, requirements and needs. The main goal was long-term – to create a solution with a special focus on employees, their expertise and the quality they deliver.

The profile has adjusted typography for the logo, and a timeless color palette that represents a quality expression to let images and projects stand out. The profile is designed to provide enough attention, but deliberately toned down, to let projects and employees shine. Vedal's focus is to build quality for long-term reputation with customers and collaboration partners and the visual identity should reflect this in all surfaces.

In close collaboration with Vedal, we built on the client's excellent preparation: updated information architecture and thorough content work. With this as a foundation, we developed the design and a new web solution. We collaborated closely in the design phase via the design tool Figma for quick feedback and iterations. We then developed a customized editor interface in WordPress with modular and reusable content components.

This is to give editors a rich and flexible toolbox to handle all types of content that will be published on the website. The new website is fast, search engine optimized, editor-friendly and easy to further develop - a comprehensive platform that highlights projects, services and the people at Vedal.
